George and Maria came to America to build a successful business based on their  family tradition of decorating glass.  They began the company in 1982 in College Point, Queens, offering sandblasting for glass, mirror, stone, plastic, and metal. Designer Glass specializes in custom etched, carved, painted, and architectural glass. They continue to develop increasingly sophisticated techniques for decorating glass and have worked on an impressive array of projects around NYC including Police Plaza, City Hall, Trump Towers and the Vietnam Memorial Wall. They have also completed several international projects that include highly detailed sculptures, decorative murals, and specialized glass treatments.
